LZPU Attends Launch Meeting for Ministry of Education's Vocational Education Vertical Model Development Program and Successfully Signs Cooperation Agreements
From News Center (Text by / Xu Juan, School of Trade and Tourism Management; Photo by / Organizer) On December 12, Yang Geyao, Dean of the School of Trade and Tourism Management, attended the Launch Meeting and Signing Ceremony for the Vocational Education Major-specific Vertical Model Development Program under the Center for Vocational Education Development, Ministry of Education, P. R. China (CVED), representing Liuzhou Polytechnic University (LZPU). At the event, LZPU successfully signed two cooperation agreements with Beijing Volcano Engine Technology Co., Ltd. and INTELVEH, securing RMB 80,000 in research funding and RMB 140,000 worth of computing power services.
It is reported that CVED has released the second batch of selected projects under the Vocational Education Major-specific Vertical Model Development Program. The project proposed by LZPU—"Vertical Model for Automotive Cross-border All-media E-commerce Operations"—was selected for both the "Major-specific Vertical Model Training" basic project category and the "Teaching Reform and Innovation in Human-computer Interaction under the Background of Large Models" featured project category. Through this signing event, the parties will focus on the field of automotive cross-border e-commerce, leveraging LZPU's existing curriculum resources and ASEAN-focused databases to jointly develop an "AI-based Decision Support System for Automotive Cross-border E-commerce". The project aims to explore new pathways for human-computer collaborative teaching, create replicable demonstration outcomes, and promote the digital transformation and upgrading of vocational education.
This cooperation represents an important initiative by LZPU to deepen industry-education integration and advance the in-depth integration of artificial intelligence and vocational education. LZPU will strictly follow the requirements of the Ministry of Education, work closely with enterprises to advance project implementation, and strive to develop leading teaching innovation and practice models, contributing vocational education expertise to high-quality regional economic and social development.
